We are always taken by what challenge our wrist watch can face. For example, we have always wanted to know if our beloved Nomos watches are water resistant to 30 meters deep, or even to 100 meters deep. Well, now I can say with some satisfaction that at least one Nomos, to be precise a Tangente (ref. 139) had the opportunity to be tried and tested well at 4500 meters above sea level.
Well here's my news; my brother in law who is part of an organization that has funded and founded a school near Yushu, in the Tibet region for local children, has just returned a few days ago from visit to appreciate the different needs and to see how their project is developing. Obviously he had his trusty wrist watch Nomos Tangente who accompanied him throughout the entire trip. I'm not sure I can say that it is the first Nomos who arrived in Tibet, but certainly one that went to accompany and keep accurate time to a charitable purpose to benefit the Tibetan people living in Tibet to improve their quality of life.

So here some pictures of "testing trial" of the Nomos Tangente on the wrist and also some pictures of these beautiful children who are learning with great enthusiasm to ensure a better future to the people of the Tibetan ethnic regions.
