Hello to everyone at the forum. I apologize for not having introduced myself properly previously. I am living and working in Shanghai and as the owner of a Nomos "Grey/White" I have been an avid fan of the brand and its development. However, the brand's representation in Shanghai has been a disappointment for me. The video was shot at the ground floor of a shopping mall where Nomos (or its representative in Shanghai Jebsen) was given an exhibition space. However, the staff had not been very knowlegable about the product and showcased a general lack of enthusiasm for the watches.
The picture in Franz's first posting is actually on the second floor of a boutique that houses various brands such as Rolex, Vacheron Constantin, Breguet which all can be found on the first floor. When I asked about the new "Worldtimer" and Tangomat GMT the staff had no idea as to what I was referring to.
All the luxury brands are represented with their own boutiques and some of them even offer an in-house repair and maintenance service. Does anyone know or has experience how Nomos handles after care service in other countries? This is the main reason which keeps me from buying another Nomos, since I know that I will have to send it to Germany, if I want proper care of the watch.
