The leather itself is produced by Horween in the USA. As far as i know the german leather manufacture Kaufmann developed the Shell Cordovan straps for NOMOS. In the beginning NOMOS used straps made of ostrich leather. Some years ago NOMOS decided to buy the Shell Cordovan leather directely from Horween and now they have another company who produces the straps from the leather NOMOS gives to them, but i dont know who this is.
