Edelmetall dann bitte für feinere Uhren. Mindestens GMT, besser Datejust / Day-Date.

Also mich hat die Blaue am Handgelenk nicht überzeugt.

Mich hat sie überzeugt, aber wie ich schon mal während der Daytona Diskussionen sagte, kommt es für mich nicht infrage, solche Beträge für eine Krone auszugeben.

Weißgold, oder überhaupt Edelmetall, passt meiner Meinung nach zudem nicht so richtig zu den Sporties. Gäbe es die Blaue in Stahl, hätte ich sie bereits.

Zu Hause berichtete ich bereits, daß ich mir die eine oder andere Rolex angeschaut habe. Aber eine konkrete Gefahr besteht (noch) nicht.

Da haben mich gestern die stark reduzierten JLC im Schaufenster eher gereizt.

Vielleicht hat es hier schon mal jemand erklärt -> wozu braucht/nutzt man an einem TOG (Turn-O-Graph) die in beiden Richtungen drehbare Lünette?

Die drehbare Lünette wird einfach zum Zeit messe genutzt.
In den 50er und frühen 60er Jahren sah der TOG wie eine Submariner aus. Heute "gehört" er zur Datejust-Familie.

The Rolex Turn-O-Graph was first produced in 1953. The main feature of this new watch was a rotating bezel to record elapsed time. Rolex called it a time-recording rim. Each minute division was shown by a small circle and each 10 minute interval was a number. The first Turn-O-Graph had pencil hands and was certified to dive up to 50 meters.

In the early 1960′s the Turn-O-Graph ceased production which led way to the more popular GMT-Master. Rolex brought back the Turn-O-Graph back and it is available for sale today.
