Have you tried to use high quality rubber? I'm not talking about plain rubber, but natural caoutchouc (unvulcanized natural rubber). I've used the Hirsch "Pure" strap and it feels good, soft and waterproof. I think it's best Nomos watch for this strap is the Tangente Sport.

Wieso? Ist doch zumindest nicht in eigener Sache.

Wonach soll ein Shell Cordovan nach 2 Monaten riechen? Etwa nach Pferd

Jacques Etoile montiert auch Lederbänder mit Kautschuk innen,
die sich bei mir sehr bewährt haben.
Den Band-Hersteller weiss ich aber nicht sicher.

Das Jacques Étoile-Band finde ich auch gut.
Aber ehrlich gesagt... ich weiß gar nicht, was so einige hier gegen das Shell Cordovan haben. Ich finde gerade das "Nomos-Standardband" im Sommer sehr angenehm zu tragen!
